Product Introduction

The Liquid Separation Washing Tower is a device used to treat impurities and pollutants in industrial wastewater and liquid streams, achieving liquid purification and separation by physical and chemical methods. It is a vertically installed tower, and according to different processing objectives and process requirements it can be divided into the following types:

• Sedimentation washing tower — mainly used to remove suspended solids and solid particles in wastewater, and to precipitate particles to the bottom through gravity, thus achieving the purpose of solid–liquid separation.
• Adsorption washing tower — uses an adsorbent to adsorb organic substances and heavy metal ions in wastewater, allowing them to adhere to the adsorbent, thereby achieving wastewater purification.
• Aerated washing tower — by introducing oxygen or air into the wastewater, the organic matter in the wastewater is oxidized and decomposed through aerobic oxidation, thereby achieving the effect of purifying the wastewater.
• Activated carbon washing tower — utilizing the adsorption effect of activated carbon, organic substances in wastewater are adsorbed on the surface of the activated carbon, thereby achieving wastewater purification.

These washing towers play different roles in the sewage treatment process, and a suitable washing tower can be selected for treatment according to the actual situation. At the same time, different washing towers can also be combined to achieve better treatment results.

The tower body is normally a vertical vessel fitted with liquid inlet and outlet connections and with internals such as sedimentation plates or baffles, an adsorbent bed, aeration pipes and, where the tower also serves washing duty for a gas stream, spray nozzles and a mist eliminator to separate entrained liquid droplets from the gas phase. In this way the treated gas leaves free of droplets and the separated liquid is collected, recirculated or passed on to further treatment. Material is selected according to the corrosiveness and pH of the liquid: stainless steel, duplex stainless steel, or carbon steel with an anticorrosion lining. Treatment capacity, tower diameter and height, internals and material are customized on request, and ISO, ASME, GOST or other third-party certification is available.
