Product Introduction

Corrosion Resistant Washing Tower is a washing tower designed for corrosive waste gas, in which every wetted part is selected for the specific medium so that the tower keeps its strength, dimensions and service life where carbon steel or ordinary stainless steel would fail. The exhaust gas is brought into contact with the scrubbing liquid so that acid gases and other pollutants are absorbed and neutralized, and dust is captured by the droplets and the wetted packing.

Vertical Washing Tower is a type of washing tower placed vertically, characterized by compact structure, small footprint, and suitable for places with limited space. A vertical washing tower usually consists of a tower body, packing layer, inlet and outlet pipelines, spraying devices and a mist eliminator. The packing layer increases the gas–liquid contact area and improves the washing effect.

Because the duty is corrosive, the shell can be supplied in FRP (GRP), PP, PVC or PVDF, or in carbon steel with rubber lining or glass-flake lining, and in stainless steel, duplex stainless steel or titanium where the temperature or the chloride content demands it. Internals are matched to the same duty: PP, PVDF, ceramic or stainless steel packing, PP or PVDF spray nozzles, and a PP, PVDF or FRP mist eliminator to stop droplet carry-over. The pH of the scrubbing liquid is controlled to keep the absorption efficiency, and the material selection is matched to the specific gas, its concentration and the operating temperature.

Tower diameter and height, internal structure, packing type, material, nozzle arrangement and control mode are customized according to the exhaust gas flow rate, the corrosive medium, the required removal efficiency and the site conditions. ISO, ASME, GOST or other third-party certification is available upon request.
