The shaft seal in the crystallization kettle agitator is a dynamic seal. Its function is to ensure that the stirring equipment is in a certain positive pressure or vacuum state to prevent the material to be stirred from escaping and the infiltration of impurities. Therefore, not all types of rotary shaft seals can be used for mixing equipment.
In mixing equipment, the most commonly used shaft seals are liquid seals, packing seals and mechanical seals.
The gear mixer in the crystallization kettle mixer is driven by an electromechanical integrated gear reduction motor, which has the advantages of small vibration, low noise, low energy consumption, space saving, reliability and durability, and high overload capacity.

The stirring vessel in the crystallization tank agitator is often referred to as a Stirred Tank (or agitated tank), and when the stirring device is used as a Reactor, it is also called a stirred tank reactor, sometimes referred to as a reaction tank.
The structure of the kettle body in the crystallization kettle agitator is usually a vertical cylinder, and its height-diameter ratio is mainly determined by the operation, the height-diameter ratio of the container liquid and the charging coefficient.
And the liquid height-diameter ratio of the container varies depending on the nature of the material in the container, the stirring characteristics and the number of layers of the agitator, generally 1 to 1.3, and up to 6 at the maximum. The shape of the bottom of the kettle includes flat bottom, oval bottom, conical bottom, etc. Sometimes a square kettle can also be used.
At the same time, according to the heat transfer requirements of the process, a jacket can be added to the outside of the kettle, and heat transfer media such as steam and cooling water can be passed through; when the heat transfer area is insufficient, coils can also be installed inside the kettle body.
