Summer is the period of dangerous chemicals accident prone and more frequent period, the following nine sources of danger must pay attention! There are various safety factors that threaten chemical production safety, such as people, materials, environment and management, but no matter which factors, they are all related to "people" in the end.
I. Leak prevention
In the summer production, once the original material leakage, not only cause environmental accidents and material loss, and most likely to cause poisoning, especially the leakage of materials directly on the operator's body, the danger is greater. To eliminate leaks, the following should be done.
1, cautious operation: material conveying valves and pipeline disassembly or connection, must pay attention to the valve switch to prevent material leakage in the outside or local hold pressure and lead to spraying material and lead to leakage accidents.
2, some glass sight glass, emptying valve (mouth), level meter and switch valve must have protective measures to prevent collision, open wrong or damage and cause leakage accidents.
3. The liquid level of each storage tank is strictly controlled below the standard (warning) line and stored strictly over the line to prevent overflow. At the same time, be sure to regularly check and verify the accuracy of the level meter of each tank to avoid false levels or false images that may lead to overflow.
Two, fire prevention
1.Summer is hot and the temperature is high. In the chemical production area, there are more flammable, explosive and volatile raw materials.
For example: ethanol, dichloroethane and other low boiling point, are volatile substances. In the hot summer months volatilisation is even faster, and in places where the concentration is relatively high it is very easy to reach its ignition point and explosion limit.
2, the summer heat and dryness, thunderstorms increased, the first thing to pay attention to fire prevention. Post personnel should operate carefully, strictly eliminate the "three violations" phenomenon; duty inspection personnel should be carefully checked, found fire or discipline violations should be handled seriously.
Three, prevent explosion
Many chemical raw materials are flammable and explosive, toxic and other characteristics, and the reaction is complex, so the summer should do a good job of explosion-proof measures.
1.Strengthen the safety management and monitoring of safety valves, explosion-proof membranes, distillation systems, etc. Regular inspection, inspection or replacement, always make it in good and effective working condition.
2.Operate with caution, strictly prohibit violation of operating procedures and over-limit operations.
3.Strengthen the management of fire sources. It is strictly forbidden to bring fire sources into the production area and to eliminate illegal fire operations.
4.It is strictly forbidden to mix two items that are prone to reaction. Once the warehouse and workshop have been strengthened, it is strictly forbidden to store items that should not or cannot be mixed together.
IV. Prevention of poisoning
Many raw materials in chemical enterprises are toxic or corrosive, and inadvertent contact or inhalation of toxic substances can easily lead to poisoning or cause muscle damage. In summer, it is easy to sweat and toxic and harmful substances can easily seep into the body through human pores, causing poisoning.
So how should we prevent it in summer.
1.Prevent poisoning during overhaul operations. When overhauling pipelines and equipment related to toxic and hazardous materials, be sure to wear protective equipment such as anti-toxic masks, protective gloves and protective glasses.
2. Operators at each post should operate carefully, and duty officers and section leaders should strengthen inspection to strictly prohibit poisoning caused by material sprayed onto or flowing directly to the operator. Pay attention to the order of operation, key positions should be operated by one person and supervised by one person.
3.When loading and unloading materials, make sure that the joints are firmly tied, check that the import and export valves are normal and then turn on the transfer pump.
4, all relevant departments should strengthen the tour inspection, to eliminate all running, bubbling, dripping, leakage phenomenon. In particular, strengthen the inspection and prevention of weak links in equipment and facilities.

V. Prevention of over-temperature
The weather is hot and the temperature is high. Some exothermic reaction processes are difficult to cool down and control, and are prone to over-temperature phenomena, which can easily lead to safety accidents if strict controls are not in place. At the same time, due to careless operation, the phenomenon of over-temperature and over-pressure can also easily occur and eventually lead to accidents.
1, each post operator must be in accordance with the operator "six strict" serious operation, strict control, strictly prohibit over-temperature operations, once the temperature or difficult to control the timely adoption of cooling, reduce the amount or direct parking and other emergency measures.
2.The temperature control of material storage and post material conveying must also be within the standard range.
3, loading and unloading materials must also pay attention to the temperature situation, especially not in the case of high temperature, direct sunlight loading and unloading, should stand in the upwind loading and unloading to prevent poisoning or danger to personnel.
VI. Anti-static
Ethanol, dichloroethane and other low-boiling, volatile substances are more volatile in the summer, plus there are more thunderstorms, so it is especially important to prevent these dangerous chemicals from causing fires and explosions due to static electricity.
VII. Protection against electric shock
In hot weather, the temperature inside the distribution room is relatively high, and the factors affecting production such as damage, aging and malfunction of electrical instruments increase.
1, electricians must wear labor protective equipment as required, must wear anti-insulated shoes, wear insulated gloves when overhauling, so that one person overhauling a supervision, always do a good job of protection and preventive measures.
2, electrical instruments and operating equipment before overhaul operations must be disconnected, hanging "strictly forbidden to close the gate" sign, under supervision, before the operation. It is strictly forbidden to work in violation of rules and regulations due to the rush for time and progress.
3, not their own electrical appliances, instruments, buttons and other electrically charged facilities can not be touched, their own equipment in charge of the failure to immediately report, notify professional maintenance personnel overhaul, private touch, disassembly and overhaul is strictly prohibited.
4, electrical instrumentation overhaul must be in accordance with the specifications of the work. It is strictly forbidden to use non-standard, type-mismatched accessories instead of making up, and it is strictly forbidden to work with sick electrical instruments that are over-temperature, over-limit and over-period.
5.Strengthen the duty inspection, do comprehensive, meticulous and standardized during the duty period, and do the handover records. In extreme weather, we should strengthen the inspection of the electrical instruments in each workshop to protect them from rain and lightning to prevent them from affecting production or causing electric shock accidents.
Eight, prevent heat stroke
Summer production must pay attention to prevent the occurrence of heat stroke.
1, the workload of the post must pay attention to rest, do not rush to catch up with the progress of the time long and tiring work.
2, due to the workload of the more sweaty jobs, you should drink more water, especially more drinks to prevent heatstroke. At the same time, go to the shade more often when taking breaks in between.
3. The workload arranged should not be too heavy and help each other to complete it together. Once an employee is found to be suffering from heatstroke, immediate rescue measures should be taken and anti-heatstroke medication should be set aside in case of an accident.
4. When feeling unwell, dizzy, weak or vomiting, stop work immediately and take emergency measures immediately.
IX. Burn prevention
In the hot summer weather, employees are thinly dressed, and a little carelessness can easily cause various kinds of personal injuries.
1.Prevent high temperature intermediate materials and heating media from splashing, flowing or dripping on the body, these materials will not only cause burns, but also cause poisoning.
For example: heat-conducting oil, steam, steam condensate or 80 ℃ hot water and high temperature intermediate materials, these materials must be tied tightly and firmly when connecting the pipeline, to prevent falling off.
2. During the production process, it is strictly forbidden to touch the body, bare hands, tools or feet to equipment and facilities that are in operation. Female workers operating rotating equipment should have their hair tied to prevent accidental involvement in the machine.
3. Before overhauling running equipment and facilities, the power must be disconnected and hung, then the v-belt and belt must be removed before overhauling operations are carried out, and at the same time, the staff on duty must cooperate well to prevent accidents from occurring without their knowledge.
4.It is strictly forbidden for employees to work against the rules or violate labour discipline, violate safety operating procedures and other "three violations" and accidents such as bumps, falls and injuries.
5, in the production area inspection and work must wear a helmet, climbing work must be for the height of the certificate and hang a good safety belt.
