Today's presentation is a thin film evaporator.
Thin film evaporator is a new type of high efficiency evaporator which can be evaporated under vacuum conditions by forcing film formation through rotating film scraper and high speed flow, high efficiency of heat transfer and short residence time (about 10~50 seconds).It consists of one or more cylinders with jacketed heating and a rotating film scraper inside the cylinder. The scrapers continuously scrape the feed material into a uniformly thick liquid film as it is heated and moves downwards; in the process, the low boiling point portion is evaporated and the residue is discharged from the bottom of the evaporator.
Application areas:
In heat exchange engineering, scraper-type film evaporators are widely used. Especially for the heat exchange of heat-sensitive materials (short time), the scraping film evaporator facilitates the heat exchange and enables the distillation of complex products by means of different scraping film evaporator designs.
