Today we are introducing the rising film evaporator among evaporators.
The rising film evaporator is also known as vertical long tube evaporation (LTV) and thermal siphon evaporator. Its structure is composed of heater, evaporation separation chamber and circulation tube etc. The liquid enters the heating tube from the bottom of the heating chamber. The heated steam flows between the tube bundles, and the material liquid boils in the heating tube and vaporises rapidly. Secondary steam in the tube flow rate is very large, 20-30m/s under atmospheric pressure, 80-200m/s under reduced pressure spiral rise, the liquid will be attached to the inner wall of the pipe pulled into a thin film. This type of evaporator is suitable for heat-sensitive materials, not suitable for materials with crystallization precipitation or easy scaling. The design and manufacture of ascending film evaporator is generally single-flow type mainly, (that is, once through can complete the concentration), when the concentration ratio of non-heat-sensitive materials requires larger, can also be designed into circulation type. The total heat transfer coefficient of ascending film evaporator is 600-6000W/(㎡*k).
